Office of Bioethics

The Office of Bioethics conducts research on bioethics and medical ethics and is also involved in providing consultation support for research ethics (research ethics consultation) and clinical ethics at JIHS. In particular, we have established and are operating an online research ethics consultation system to support researchers of the Center. We handle approximately 200 research ethics consultations per year. In addition, in collaboration with the Office of Clinical Research and Education Promotion, we also provide research ethics education.
