About the Global Infectious Diseases Forum
Overview of the Forum
NCGM International Infectious Diseases Forum changed its name to JIHS Global Infectious Diseases Forum in April 2025, coinciding with the establishment of the Japan Institute of Health Security (JIHS; formed by the merger of National Center for Global Health and Medicine and National Institute of Infectious Diseases). We will continue to promote international development through public-private-academia collaboration, mainly in the field of infectious diseases. Experts provide the latest information and exchange opinions among relevant parties such as companies, medical and research institutions. We support the development of pharmaceuticals and medical devices for prevention, diagnosis, treatment as well as clinical research utilizing the international collaborative clinical research platform established by JIHS and the international clinical trial network, ARO Alliance for Southeast & East Asia (ARISE).
Content of the Forum
- ・Latest trends in infectious diseases in Japan and overseas
- ・Latest findings and countermeasures for infectious diseases such as AMR
- ・Academic information on new medical technologies and pharmaceuticals
- ・Domestic medical administration and overseas regulations
- ・Case reports on overseas clinical research and trial
