She received her M.D. and Ph.D. from Okayama University in 2000 and 2006, respectively. After working at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Okayama University Hospital, and PMDA, she joined the National Center for Global Health and Medicine (NCGM) in April 2020. | Based on her experience in PMDA, she has been in charge of collecting and analyzing information regarding adverse effects and deviations that occurred in clinical research and supporting appropriate research activity in JIHS.
