EDC System

Da Capo, Our In-House EDC System

Da Capo is an Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system developed and operated in-house by JCRAC to collect clinical data securely and reliably.

Da Capo

Da Capo is a participant registration and electronic data capture (EDC) system that handles participant registration, data entry, and progress management. Because it is developed in-house, it is free of license restrictions and can be used not only for studies within our institute but also when supporting research at external institutions.

It is also easy to extend, and we continually develop and add features that conventional EDC systems lack. By using Da Capo and REDCap, a general-purpose EDC, selectively according to the characteristics of each study, we choose the data collection platform best suited to the research and draw on the strengths of both.
